This book consists of 18 short stories about the life of a Thai male who is apart from his family to work in CRI, Beijing, China. Living abroad with a new environment, tradition, and culture of China under the so-called socialist government and the early era of country opening. With his thoughts on his family in Thailand, he travelled from place to place and did lots of activities hoping to make the time goes faster. He combines his stories, impression, experiences with Chinese friends, and foreign friends at CRI here in this book in a form of a short story which expresses lots types of emotions and situations. Most of these short stories have been published in the New Silk Road and some are awarded. It does not violate copyright law.
